Mike McGavisk (Realtor) brings over 25 years of experience in the world of real estate. With a background as an educator and administrator, Mike loves working with people and helping them achieve their dreams. Mike is a proactive salesperson with a reputation for seemingly limitless energy and thinking outside the box. Mike is the Operating Partner and broker of record in 5 Keller Williams franchises in Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. In addition to being a realtor and broker, he has worked as the Regional Director for Keller Williams’ Greater Pennsylvania Region. Mike is also a licensed real estate appraiser, so he will bring a keen eye for the value of real estate to every transaction.

Mike believes that at the heart of every real estate transaction is a person or family that deserves to have their needs met and their desires considered. Mike is ready to help you find creative solutions to the most complicated real estate transactions. Mike is married and has two grown sons who work in banking and real estate. When not in the office, Mike is a NASCAR fan and can be found every summer at the Dover International Speedway.

Laurie Brown (Realtor) has worked with Mike in his real estate business for 19 years. One of Keller Williams’ top producing agents in this area, Laurie’s level head and cheerful smile makes every transaction a pleasant one. As both a listing agent and a buyers’ agent, Laurie is positioned to negotiate on both sides of a transaction to achieve the most beneficial outcome for her customer. Laurie has served Keller Williams on the finance committee, the culture committee and the Agent Leadership Council for the Newark Market Center.

Laurie knows that communication is at the center of a successful real estate transaction. She tailors her transactions to her client’s needs, merging new technology with old fashioned attention to the individual to ensure that her clients feel heard and stay informed. Laurie is married with two grown daughters. Laurie is an avid reader and a creative home chef who is actively involved with Faith Baptist Church in Wilmington.

Michelle Brown (Buyers’ Agent) is a native of Camden, New Jersey. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Delaware State University in Hotel/Restaurant Management and Business Administration and a Masters in Public Administration from Strayer University. Her 14-year love for real estate comes from spending 11 years prior in Mortgage Processing and Credit Analysis. She prides herself in being able to serve her clients in every area of real estate. She served for the last three years at the YWCA as a Financial Empowerment Counselor, specializing in foreclosures and modifications. Her expertise ranges from first time homebuyers, foreclosures, investments, new construction, HUD homes and commercial properties to REO properties.

Her proudest accomplishment was opening a transitional home called Fresh Start Transitional Home for Women. Giving woman a fresh start at life, from homelessness to independence, is her passion. She is now on a venture to open a non-profit organization called Divine Purpose for post incarcerated women. MLB. I WILL GO THE BAT FOR YOU!

Andrew McGavisk (Buyer’s Agent) is Mike’s oldest son and has been working with his father in real estate for 12 years. Also a residential real estate appraiser, Andrew has experience working in multiple areas of real estate. Andrew attended Liberty University and the University of Delaware and prides himself on his eclectic knowledge of music. If there’s a Dave Matthew’s Band concert anywhere in the United States, that’s where he’ll be!

Beverly Culbreth (Transaction Coordinator) has worked in the mortgage and real estate business for 22 years. As transaction coordinator, she will be your guide as your property moves from signed contract to closing. She will contact all necessary inspectors, lawyers, title companies, and all the other individuals that are involved with completing the transaction. Buying or selling a house can be overwhelming, and Beverly’s job is to handle all the details and make them run smoothly.

Beverly is a meticulous, detail-oriented person, and she will make all the details of your transaction her top priority. She is always ready with a smile and a cheerful hello to answer any question about your transaction and ensure that you stay informed. Bev is married with two children—a son in high school and a daughter in kindergarten—who keep her running. She enjoys her dog Rocky and her time at her family’s summer home in Rehoboth.

Shelley Fleming (Executive Assistant to Mike McGavisk) comes to real estate through a career in education. A former middle and high school English and drama teacher, Shelley makes sure that “the I’s are dotted and the T’s are crossed.” She handles office communication and scheduling and keeps everything running smoothly. Bridging the gaps between the business of sales and the business of running the business, she handles the day to day operations and frees up Mike to give his full attention to the matter at hand, which is your transaction.

Shelley makes communication the center of her day. Whether it’s returning phone messages, answering e-mails, keeping our database of contacts current or updating the information on our website, she makes it possible for us to stay in touch and up to date with current and potential customers. Shelley has three teenagers (yikes!) and is involved in community theater through the Wilmington Drama League and Imagination Players, a youth performance and community service organization.

Dean Mench (Courier) is retired from a career in the petroleum industry. He is on the road for us every day, attending to all those little details that make your life easier and allow you to not have to interrupt your daily activities to buy or sell your home. It is Dean who will stop by and put the SOLD sign on your house, meet an inspector or contractor if you’re unavailable and bring you copies of documents to sign. Dean is married with three grown children. He always has a story, and if you see him on a Monday, just ask him where they went for dinner after church on Sunday!
